(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) Tennis player Frances Tiafoe has tested positive for Coronavirus and was withdrawn from the American Team Cup Tennis tournament. On Saturday weekend tournament Tiafoe was to face off with Tennys Sandgren in the Peachtree Corners with other eight top American men’s players. the match is taking place with limited fans.
Tiafoe was the captain of Team Stars, played against John Isner’s Team Stripes.
Novak Djokovic and three pro players have also tested positive for Coronavirus as they have played in a similar exhibition in Europe.
Tournament officials said, ‘ They are cleaning and sanitizing the site and also alerting people who have exposed.’
