(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) Vikas Dubey, gangster of Uttar Pradesh charged of killing eight cops got arrested from a temple in Madhya Pradesh after a long run chase of 5 days. The chasing had gone long almost to three states. He was caught in Ujjain and two of his aides were killed in encounters in UP.
He got caught at the Mahakal Temple at 8 am; he was buying prayer offerings when the shopkeeper recognized him and alerts the security guards. Soon he emerged from the temple the guards started questioning him. He produced a fake ID card when asked further for his identity he started hitting the guard who took him to the police station.
He left to the police station shouting “Main Vikas Dubey hoon Kanpur wala” shouting in the van when he was getting beaten.
He was charged against 60 criminal cases which include murder, Kidnapping, extortion and rioting. It was a huge success for the police force as they held the criminal who was being chased since a week with over 60 cases charged against him.
