(Pooja Dubey, Intern Journalist) The price of gold has also been recorded in the Delhi bullion market. On Tuesday, gold prices recorded their first decline after a bounce in the last seven trading sessions. In Delhi, gold closed at Rs 52,846 per 10 grams with a break of Rs 187, while on Monday gold had closed at Rs 53,033.
Silver also declined on Tuesday and closed at Rs 64,297 per kg with a rupee of Rs 1,933, while on Monday it was at Rs 66,230. Both gold and silver prices have fallen after a seven-day rally.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst Tapan Patel said, “In line with the fall in the international market, there was a technical improvement in 24-carat gold in Delhi and its price fell by Rs 187.There was profit-booking in gold due to improvement in the dollar.”
In the international market, gold was at a loss of $ 1,923 an ounce and silver was at a loss of $ 23.60 an ounce.
