(Priyanka Gupta, Intern Journalist)Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has again reiterated the resolve to protect women and girls in the state. He said that he is fully committed to the safety and respect of women and girls. He directed that during Navratri, the police should conduct special operations with a view to protecting women and respecting them.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday held a meeting with the chairpersons of the committees set up in connection with Covid-19 at his government residence in Lucknow to ensure health care for the common man as well as to provide the best medical care. During this time, CM Yogi directed for maximum contact tracing for effective control over infection of Covid-19. He directed to take special vigilance in Lucknow, Kanpur Nagar, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Meerut and said that effective action should be taken in these districts by keeping constant contact with the Chief Medical Officer and District Administration.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the rate of Covid-19 infection has come down in the state, which is a good sign. He directed that people should be constantly made aware to avoid negligence in relation to Covid-19. Full awareness and vigilance should be taken towards Covid-19. Instructed to use various communication mediums including radio, TV, newspapers for continuous awareness of Covid-19. He said that information should be given regarding Covid-19 and traffic safety through the public address system. Instructions were also given to ensure Covid-19 protocol and social distancing in public places.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that a special campaign for cleanliness and sanitization should be launched by the Rural Development and Urban Development Department. During the campaign, the spraying of ancillary and lime, etc. should be ensured. CM said that he is fully committed to the safety and respect of women and girls. He directed the police department to conduct a campaign during Navratri with a view to protecting women and respecting them. CM said in the meeting that paddy purchasing centers should be operated with full capacity and activity. He directed to be alerted through SMS to prevent loss of life due to lightning.
