(Kajal Singh intern journalist): In the month of May, the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have consistently achieved great successes. On 6 May, security forces killed Kukhyal Hizbul commander Riyaz Naiku, while on 17 May, another Hizbul commander, Tahir Bhat, was also killed.

In Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces got a big success on Monday morning. Security forces killed 2 terrorists in an encounter in Kulgam. The Inspector-General of Police (IG) of Kashmir Zone informed about this successful operation.

According to the information, 2-3 terrorists were reported to be hiding in the Khud Hanjipura area in Kulgam in south Kashmir on Monday morning. After this, 34 National Rifle of Army, CRPF, and a team of police started joint action. Security forces laid siege to the area.

According to IG Vijay Kumar, when the team of security forces started moving towards the whereabouts of the terrorists, the firing started from the terrorists. Indian soldiers also retaliated. 2 terrorists died in this encounter. According to the police, the identity of the terrorists continues.
Kashmir Zone Police tweeted and informed that a large number of weapons and other items have been recovered from the slain militants.

Big success in the month of may
Despite the ongoing lockdown in the country, the action of the security forces against the terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir continues. This month, the security forces in the Union Territory have had major successes.

On 6 May, during an operation in Begpura, Pulwama, security forces shelled Riyaz Naiku, the number one commander of the terrorist organization Hizbul Mujahideen, and one of his accomplices in Jammu and Kashmir. Naiku’s death was a big success for the security forces in Kashmir, as he was escaping from the grip for a few years in a row.

After this, on 17 May, the security forces got a big success. This time, another Hizbul commander Tahir Bhat was killed by the security forces in an encounter in Doda.
