(Aditya Shaw, Intern Journalist): Tropical cyclone ‘Hannah’ has taken a macular form in the US and hit the Texas coast this morning (Indian time). It is being told that this may cause huge destruction around Miami, while it has caused the danger of a huge tornado to arise. People are in a panic since Meteorological Department alerts.
The meteorological department said Texas could receive between 5 and 10 inches of rain. This can affect coastal areas completely. There is a risk of life and property here. According to Colorado State University storm researcher Phil Clotzebach, Hannah could break the record for eight Atlantic cyclones.
Severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued from Port Mansfield to Mesquite Bay. There is a warning of severe bouts from Buffin Bay to Sergeant. Tropical storm warnings are in effect from Bara El Mejquital in Mexico to Port Mansfield in Texas and from Mesquite Bay to High Island in Texas. High waves are expected to rise in the sea, which can worsen the current conditions.
