(Bhagya Luxmi, Intern Journalist) Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri held a press conference on Thursday about the Vande Bharat Abhiyan. Earlier, he had tweeted and said that the Vande Bharat Abhiyan is going on to facilitate the evacuation and exit of stranded and distressed citizens in India. So far 670 thousand people have returned by various means and more than 85 thousand people have gone out.
“We are at a very advanced stage of negotiations with at least 3 countries – France, the US & Germany for the air bubble. Air France will be operating 28 flights from Delhi, Mumbai & Bengaluru to Paris between July 18 to August 1” Puri said.
