(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Washington: Indian Senator Kamla Harris lashed out against Trump after being elected as the official candidate of US Vice President by the Democratic Party. Harris called Trump a fail leader and referral to the black movement, saying there is no vaccine for racism.
Harris, a 55-years-old California senator, made history on Wednesday by becoming the first black woman to accept the Democratic Party’s candidacy for the post of Vice President of the United States at the Democratic National Convention. After the party was officially announced, Harris became emotional and recalled her mother of Indian Origin. Former Vice President Biden tweeted soon after Harris’s acceptance speech, Kamla Harris would be a wonderful Vice President. Now let’s go to work.
