(Harleen Kaur, Intern Journalist)Hathras, Even after the Uttar Pradesh government’s decision to conduct a CBI inquiry into the death of a Dalit girl in Boolgadhi village, the leaders of various parties of the state are meeting the victim family. Simultaneously, amid the recommendation of the CBI investigation, the SIT team probing the case reached the victim’s house and recorded the statements of the family members.
Five party leaders along with former Congress national president Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi met the victim family on Saturday, while on Sunday, a five-member delegation of the Samajwadi Party would visit the victim family in Boolgarhi village of Hathras.
Meanwhile, a team of Special Investigation Team (SIT) has reached the victim’s residence in Boolgarhi village of Hathras since Sunday morning. For over an hour the SIT team is inside the village of Bulgarhi. During this time, common people are banned. The team is recording the statements of all his family members. It is believed that the SIT will submit its investigation report by Tuesday.
