Hazari Prasad Dwivedi Death Anniversary (born -19 August 1907 death -19 May 1979) The pain that Kashi gave to Tulsidas was also given to Acharya Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, but Kabir had such an effect on the nature of Acharya that enemies would kill him. Were. There was no problem for him, neither in life nor in contemplation nor creation. He could not hurt anyone. Could not be angry either. This is the reason that when he was expelled from the post of Professor of Hindi Department at BHU on the report of Mudaliar Committee, the opponents of Dwivedi were also calling this decision of the university unfair. At the same time, Acharya said that when the university called me, Shanti came from Niketan, then he is saying go away, then I will leave.
That didn’t work
Shortly after the expulsion of Acharya, the then Vice-Chancellor of BHU, Justice Bhagwati, said in a ceremony that after the departure of Hazari Prasad Ji, that matter was no longer in the Hindi department. After this event, many people tried to return to the university.
BHU missed three times
Acharya left BHU thrice. For the first time when his academic tenure in Sanskrit college was completed. The second time he was expelled from the post of Chairman of the Department and the third time he resigned as the Vice-Chancellor.
Acharya always carried forward the Guru-disciple tradition. He believed that this is the most ideal system of education. As a result of this, disciples like Namvar Singh, Kedarnath Singh, Shivprasad Singh and Kashinath Singh illuminated his name. According to Vishwanath Tripathi, who was awarded the Murthidevi and Vyas Samman and wrote the biography of Acharya, he had established the Hindi Bhavan in Visva-Bharati in collaboration with Rabindra Nath Tagore and Banarasi Das Chaturvedi. After this, the proposal of Hindi Bhavan in Delhi and Banaras also came with the same. He re-introduced the folk poet Kabir to the common people. In the era of Acharya Hazari Prasad, the Hindi department of BHU was considered to be the most prestigious department in the country.
Mahamana met in Ruia hostel
Acharya lived in Ruia Hostel during his education. Once during the inspection, BHU founder Madan Mohan Malaviya saw several books in his room. He was impressed and praised him. They also said to keep on matching.
‘Kafan’ was not considered a good creation
Acharya was a very emotional person. That is why he did not consider Premchand’s composition Kafan very good. They could not accept the fact that Ghisu and Madhav could be so bad that they would worry about the wife and bridegroom suffering from childbirth and wager for fried potatoes. However, it was due to Acharya’s effort that Munshi Premchand got a proper place in the BA and MA courses of BHU.
This is how the name goes
Hazari Prasad Dwivedi’s real name was Bholanath Dwivedi. In a case, his maternal grandfather had won a thousand rupees and the same day Acharya was born. Opponents were also murid of him.
