(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: The next hearing in the 2009 Supreme Court contempt case against Advocate Prashant Bhushan will be held on August 24. During the hearing on Monday, former law minister and advocate Shanti Bhushan asked for a hearing in the open court in the Supreme Court. On this, Justice Arun Mishra said that they wanted to end the case but there are some basic questions that
- Do you want to talk to the press?
- If you have a complaint against a judge, what should be the procedure?
- Under which circumstances such allegations can be made is, also a question.
Bhushan’s lawyer Rajiv Dhawan said that the question raised by Supreme Court is not correct. Dhawan suggested that the contempt case should be closed and the questions raised by the bench should be referred to the Supreme Court bench.
