(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist) Patna: The landing of the helicopter will be possible from this year on the roof of Police Headquarters ‘Sardar Patel’ building, built-in 53504 square meters, at a cost of about three and a half crore rupees in the state capital. Building Construction Department has sent a letter to the Cabinet Secretariat requesting permission from the Ministry of Civil Aviation for helicopter landing.
Sardar Patel Bhawan is the seven-story police headquarters in the state which has been constructed in a hi-tech manner. The building is capable of controlling law and order in any type of disaster and environment. This building is equipped with 10 days of power backup. The building is completely earthquake resistant and is also able to withstand earthquakes up to nine Richter scale easily. A modern command center has also been built on the roof of the building along with a helipad. In opposite circumstances, the police force can be dispatched from the helipad on the roof of this building to deal with any disaster.
