(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): For the fourth consecutive time in Bihar, the Health Department did not file a counter affidavit in the Patna High Court. The court regretted the government’s attitude and said they were personally aware of the appalling condition of Corona patients. He also said that a court staff got corona and due to negligence in its treatment, it was understood that the condition of treatment of corona in Bihar was not right.

Advocates Dinu Kumar and Ritika Rani told the court that the government did not want to tell about the RTPCR investigation. He said that the government is claiming 11 and a half thousand inquiries every day while the truth is different. Less than four thousand investigations are being done every day. He said that the government has 9 labs for the R test and this test is limited to a few people. The CCTV camera could not be installed in the corona ward. The court reprimanded the government for filing the reply on the new points asked with the counter affidavit within two weeks.
