(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) Lord Ganesh, the Hindu god who is also known as Vinayaka. Ganesh is mostly known for his elephant head. He is known as obstacle remover, patron of arts and science, and the lord of intellect and wisdom. He was honored at the beginning of rites and ceremonies.
Lord Ganesha’s existence occurs from Goddess Parvati through her body dirt during her bath. His story of getting Elephant head is when he stops his father Lord Shiva to enter the bath place of Goddess Parvati, Lord Shiva in anger cut down his head but after Goddess Parvati cried for losing his son Ganesh, Lord Shiva put the face of Elephant on Lord Ganesh face.
