(Juhi Aishwary, Intern Journalist): The Union Home Ministry has constituted a special team to assess the damage caused by cyclone Amphan in Bengal. The Ministry of Home Affairs has set up an inter-ministerial central team that will assess the damage caused by the Amphan storm in Bengal. The state has classified him as a ‘state guest’ during the yatra.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the team will have 7 members led by Joint Secretary, MHA Anuj Sharma. Other officials include the Ministry of Water Power, Ministry of Power, Roads, and Highways, Fisheries Department. The team will come to Bengal today and will visit South and North 24 Parganas during their two-day journey.
