One of the most important and essential makeup tools is a makeup brush. But according to a study, only 30-40% of the women clean their makeup brush once every month, while 25% of them don’t clean at all. But if a brush is unwashed for a long time, then they get loaded with oily residues, dead skin cells, and bacteria. Hence, its very important and essential to clean makeup brushes on a regular note.
Follow these simple and cost-effective tips to clean your makeup brushes at home easily:
- Shampoo & water: Take a bowl of water and add any shampoo to it. you will see the dirt and oily residue oozing out from the bristles. after that wash it under normal tap water and let it dry naturally under the sun
- Dish liquid: For this, you need to first wash the brush under normal tap water. later pour some dish liquid in your hand and rub the bristles of the brush gently. Later let it dry under the sun.
Most importantly, don’t put your brush in any electronic machine as it damages the bristles also, don’t use hot water while cleaning as it makes the brush harder.
