(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) I. I. T. Kanpur’s Professor, Pramod Subhramyam, committed suicide by hanging. He was an assistant professor in the computer science and engineering department. Kalyanpur police reached there by the notice of IIT administration and landed the body down. According to police, Pramod committed suicide by hanging with the rope of nylon in his room. Police could not find any suicide letter at that time. Police are searching for the matter. Due to corona, the campus is off and that time he was living alone. The cause of the incident is not revealing. It is said that he converse with their mates at about 2:30 pm. What happened after that is not known. Director Abhay Karandikar has his death.
