(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist)Rajasthan: IAS Tina Dabi, the clincher of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination’s 2015 batch, and her better half, IAS Athar Khan, have petitioned for legal separation.
The couple has sought legal separation with shared assent in a family court in Jaipur. Tina Dabi and Athar Khan had hitched in 2018.
Athar Khan, who hails from Kashmir, secured the second rank in the UPSC Exam in 2015, while Tina Dabi had topped the Exam.
It is believed that the couple, Tina and Athar, had gotten near one another during the training period. Both are officials of the Rajasthan cadre and are presently posted in Jaipur.
The marriage of Tina Dabi and Athar Khan had gone under the scanner at some point prior after Dabi had taken out ‘Khan’ from her last name via online media. Around a similar time, Athar too had unfollowed Tina on Instagram.
Tina Dabi and Athar Khan’s marriage had hit the features as a few political pioneers had praised the two top IAS officials for getting married, while the Hindu Mahasabha had named it as love jihad.
