(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist) Vijayawada: Beauty lies everywhere, in every simple thing. But the real beauty lies in the heart of humans. This is because he is given the precious sixth sense differentiating him from animals, by God.

“Try not to be handsome instead give your hand to some,” said Abdul Kalam. Our real strength is in willingness to care and support each other. We are caretakers of the divine property. Wisdom is to understand this simple universal principle that by getting things, we make a living, by giving we make a life! The spiritual evolution of society can be understood when people love people and use things, But all too often in today’s world, it’s just the opposite. People use people and love things

Consciously or unconsciously we have taken so much to build our system, our body, our mind. We took a lot from this society, this culture, this world and we have to give back, make our contribution in any small way possible with love and selflessness. That is real KARMA YOG. Happiness is the most beautiful outcome of giving. Only sharing can attempt to generate smiles in the faces of others despite the gales that are raging within us.

The present population is about 7.3 Billion, among them 1.85 Billion people live in extreme poverty, 20 million people die of malnutrition, 25 million dies of deadly diseases, just because selfishness dominates love. Where we forgot the true meaning of Humanity.

In Giving, We receive.

Nature itself is a wonderful example of giving selflessly. Trees pass on fruits, wood, of their sweat with love for the enjoyment of others. But we selfish Homo sapiens destroy them for our needs we simply “use and throw”.  Humans with a well-developed mind and heart don’t hold the values trees have today

Selfish and selfless are two small words. We can just fix them at the place and maintain a balance between those two words only when words like ‘I’, ‘me’, and ‘mine’ change to ‘we’, ‘us’, and ‘ours’.

The selfless may be glamour less, but they can never be honourless. The selfless may be comfortless but they can never be cheerless. The selfless may be powerless but they can never be flavorless. By helping others with the love we are in fact, helping ourselves. On the other hand, we harm ourselves by being selfish. Whenever we perform a good or a bad action it is reflected in the universal consciousness. Hence enjoy giving and do what can promote love, because however capable and intelligent one may be, one grows only through, and with others. Selfish acts can build walls of separation, demolish bridges of unity. Love has the power to make even the goats and lions live in harmony under one roof! Only then we will be more attractive than The moon and The stars, more fragrant than Roses and Jasmines and more sparkling than Pearls and Diamonds!
