Saloni Subha (Intern Journalist) Lucknow: The ruling party BJP along with Samajwadi Party secured one seat each in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council election to the Graduates’ constituencies on Saturday.

However, counting is going on in three constituencies. BjP candidate Manvendra Pratap Singh ‘Guruji’ won the Agra Division Graduates seats, while SP’s Man Singh Yadav won from the Allahabad-Jhansi Division , an election official informed.

Whereas, UP’s Chief Electoral Officer Ajay Kumar Shukla said that the counting is going on in Graduates’ constituencies of Varanasi, Lucknow, and Meerut. Polling was held on Tuesday for 11 seats five reserved for graduates and six for teachers.
