(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); The Muslim Council of France will meet President Macron this week. They want the president to agree on a charter of new Republican values for the imams. These councils represent nine different Muslim organizations. Hafiz said, “Former President Sarkozy raised me to speak at five in the morning. I told him that his name might be Mohammed but he is a criminal. I did not want to make any connection between that crime and my religion. But today I do this. The Imams of France have a lot of work to do. “
