(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); India’s Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Shringla said on Friday that India is ready to walk step by step with the world in fighting the Coronavirus crisis. He said that we will not back down from helping other countries in vaccine production and supply.
Shringla gave this message in a conversation with Ambassadors and High Commissioners of various countries in India. He said that many countries are contacting us for the supply of vaccines. He said, “I reiterate the commitment of our Prime Minister that India’s capacity for vaccine production and distribution will be harnessed to help humanity in its fight against this crisis. India will also help interested countries to increase cold chain and storage capacity for the supply of vaccines.”
The dialogue was organized to apprise the envoys of the covid-19 vaccine development program in India, supply system management, and the framework of international cooperation in this regard. Shringla said that India is on the path towards developing vaccines.
