Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Coronavirus has created a furor in the world. The world is looking for a vaccine to protect against the coronavirus. Meanwhile, Bangladesh says that India will provide the Coronavirus vaccine with priority to Bangladesh.

According to a report, a top diplomat from Dhaka said that Bangladesh will acquire the Corona vaccine from India on a priority basis. Actually, Indian Foreign Secretary Harshvardhan Shringla is currently on a visit to Bangladesh. During this visit, Shringla met with his counterpart Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Masood bin Momen in Dhaka. At the same time, the two discussed ways to enhance the bilateral relationship between the coronavirus pandemic.

After meeting Shringla, Bangladesh Foreign Secretary Masood bin Momen said that the corona vaccine would not be limited to India. We have been assured that India will provide us the Corona vaccine on a priority basis. The country’s pharmaceutical companies will be able to cooperate with this. During this time, Bin Momen also informed about the vaccine from the Serum Institute of India.

The talks between the two countries came at a time when China has been allowed to conduct the third phase human trials of the Synovac Biotech Limited-produced anti-covid-19 vaccine through Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) a few days ago. Earlier, China also sent a medical team to assess the preparedness of the pandemic in Bangladesh during the first week of June.
