Indian citizens to be evacuated from the Maldives and UAE, Navy sends its three ships

Kochi: The government is working fast to bring back the Indian citizens trapped in other countries due to the coronavirus epidemic. Meanwhile, the Navy has dispatched its ships to bring back the stranded civilians in the Maldives and the UAE.

Defense spokesmen said that India has sent three naval ships to evacuate its civilians stranded in the Maldives and UAE. He said that INS Jalashv, along with INS Magar, was flown to the Maldives on Monday night. While INS Shardul has left to evacuate the Indian migrants stranded in Dubai.

The spokesman said that the three ships will return to Kochi with the people. INS Magar and INS Shardul are ships of Southern Naval Command, while INS Jalashv is of Eastern Naval Command. INS Jalashv went from East Coast to West Coast a few days before Visakhapatnam. A total of 14 warships have been sent to evacuate Indian civilians from Khari and other countries.

Please tell that in the last 24 hours in the country, the highest number of cases of corona has been reported. During this period, 3900 new cases of corona virus have been reported, while 195 people have died. According to the Ministry of Health, the number of patients infected with the corona virus in the country has increased to 46,433. Of this, 12,726 people have been cured so far, while 1,568 people have died in the country so far.
