(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); On Saturday, an agent of Pakistani intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was arrested in Barmer, Rajasthan on charges of espionage. He is brought to Jaipur for questioning. On the other hand, a quadcopter who came to the Indian border in Jammu and Kashmir, infiltrated by Pakistan, was killed by the army. It was seen flying near the LoC in the Keran sector at around eight in the morning.
It is being told that the drone dropped on the LoC is made by the Chinese company DJI. For some time, Pakistani drones and quadcopters have been seen continuously along the border with India. They are being used in espionage, knowing the status of Indian soldiers, as well as sending weapons and drugs. In the past, there were cases of sending weapons to terrorists through drones in the Pir Panjal range of Jammu and Kashmir.
Last month, weapons sent via drone in Jammu and Rajouri district were recovered. In June, the Pakistani drone was shot down by BSF in the Pansar area of Kathua, Jammu, and Kashmir. Arms were sent to the terrorists through this drone. It had an American rifle, two magazines, and other weapons. This consignment came in the name of an Ali brother.
The intelligence wing of the BSF had issued an alert in August stating that Pakistan could use drones to bomb bombs at security installations in the RSpura and Samba sectors of Jammu and Kashmir near the international border. Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI is planning it.
