(Dharshini.G, Intern journalist) Ahmedabad: The Jain people group of Ahmedabad gave 24 kilograms of silver blocks for the development of the Ram sanctuary in Ayodhya. Jain saints presented the silver blocks to members of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
Conversing with journalists, a Jain saint stated, “The Jain people group, alongside the entire nation, is amped up for the development of the super temple in Ayodhya. With this present, we are showing our happiness. On August 5, our locale will perform a large number of chants and wish for the completion of the development work of the temple. The entire community will light diyas at their homes to express bliss.”
He stated, “We have gathered 18 kilograms of silver with the contributions of numerous Jains and would like to contribute around 24 kilograms for the development.”
