(Harleen Kaur, Intern Journalist) Deoria: After four days of leave, offices and schools opened on Tuesday. Suddenly there was a jam in the city due to increasing crowds of people on the road. People had to struggle with jam all day. Along with the traffic police, the Kotwali police also had to sweat to get rid of this.
Although there is a problem with jam every day in the city, on Tuesday, this problem became more. The reason behind this was the sudden increase in road congestion after four days of vacation. Schools and offices remained closed due to Dhanteras on Friday, Diwali on Saturday, weekly holiday on Sunday, and worship of Gobardhan on Monday. Due to the jam, vehicles were seen crawling on Civil Line Road, Malviya Road, Kotwali Road, Ramlila Maidan, CC Road. The same situation happened on the overbridge located in Gorakhpur Road. Some staunch drivers also parked their vehicles in the middle of the road. Traffic Sub Inspector Ramvriksha Yadav said that congestion increased due to the opening of the office after four days, due to which the problem of the jam was created.
