This is the largest single-day raise for anyone since the formation of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index in 2012. Amazon.com Inc. has seen a jump of 7.9 percent of its shares, the largest rise since December 2018.
The 56-year-old has seen his fortune this year rise to $74 billion. The net worth is $189.3 billion, following the covid-19 pandemic affecting the US economy too. Today, Bezos is individually worth more than Exxon Mobil Corp., Nike Inc., and McDonald’s Corp. stock value. He is currently the richest man in the world.
