Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for North Eastern Region Development (Donor), Prime Minister’s Office, Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh today informed that Jammu and Kashmir Grievance System is integrated with Central Grievance Portal Has been done. Thus it has become the first union territory of India. Whose district level grievance offices have been integrated with the Central Government’s CPGRAMS (Central Public Grievances Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System) portal.
As an important effort towards strengthening the governance machinery in Jammu and Kashmir, the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) under the Union Ministry of Personnel, in partnership with the Union Territory Government of J&K for online grievance redressal Grievance portal has been expanded and established. After more than three months of deliberations, the Jammu and Kashmir Integrated Grievance Redressal and Monitoring System (JK-IGRAMS) has been integrated with the district level offices and central portals in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the Public Grievance Department of the Government of India had partnered with the Union Territory Government of Jammu and Kashmir to implement CPGRAMS on a pilot basis in the districts and integrate them with the Central Government Portal.
Describing the first use of the district-level portal to be integrated with the state and then the national portal, Dr. Jitendra Singh hoped that this system will be implemented in other states and union territories of India as well.
