Joe Biden came close to victory, Donald Trump ready for legal battle

(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); In the US presidential election, Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden has outpaced the current presidential and Republican candidates in the counting of votes and is close to a majority. Joe Biden has so far received 264 electoral votes, while Trump’s account has received 214 votes so far. However, the counting phase is still going on. Both candidates have expressed confidence in winning.

The presidential election is seen reaching the Supreme Court as the campaign team of Donald Trump and Joe Biden are preparing for a legal battle. This time, voters cast votes through a record number of postal ballots, due to which the counting of votes may take longer. Pennsylvania officials said Wednesday that they expected all votes to be counted by Friday. The Democratic Party candidate Biden’s campaign team believes it will benefit him, while Trump’s campaign team believes that election malpractices may occur during the counting of votes.

President Donald Trump told his supporters at the White House in the early hours of Wednesday, “We want the law to be used properly, so we are going to the US Supreme Court. We want to stop voting. In Delaware, Biden said, “We know that a record number of postal ballots have been voted. We have to be patient till the counting of votes is done. “
