Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Trump Jr., son of US President Donald Trump, has expressed confidence in his father’s re-victory on the strength of the support of the Indian-American community. According to him, his father has a significant edge in the thorn-hit provinces. Citing an article written in the latest issue of the news website ‘American Greatness’, Trump Jr. claimed that 50 percent of the Indian-American community voters living in these provinces are leaving the Democratic Party and favoring his father.

Trump, who is leading his father’s election campaign, worked hard to bring the Indian-American community back in 2016 and continues to do so today. Junior Trump has tweeted that the thorny states can ensure his father’s victory.

According to this article, more than 50 percent of the voters of the Indian-American community, who usually support the Democratic Party, seem to be in favor of the Republican Party. This may give Trump a significant edge in states such as Florida, Virginia, Michigan, Pennsylvania. There are 25 lakh voters in the Indian community of about 40 lakhs in America.

Democrat Trump candidate Joe Biden is giving tough competition to Donald Trump in the November 3 presidential election. In most surveys, Biden has been shown to gain by several points.
