(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist)KOLKATA: Days after he went under attack during his visit to Diamond Harbor in West Bengal, BJP public general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya has been given a BulletProof vehicle by the Center.
He showed up in the city on Monday evening to participate in a program at Mathurapur in South 24 Parganas.
“According to the request for the Union home service, I have been given an impenetrable vehicle,” the BJP’s Bengal minder told journalists at the air terminal.
Stones were heaved at BJP public president J.P. Nadda’s escort during his visit to Diamond Harbor region in South 24 Parganas on December 10.
A few vehicles in Nadda’s procession were harmed in the attack. Sources in the BJP said its chiefs including Vijayvargiya and VP Mukul Roy continued wounds in the scuffle.
