(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) Karnataka on Monday declared an exemption for those who are travelling to Karnataka from Maharastra from the compulsory 7 days institutional quarantine. Whereas the traveller to the states from Maharastra has to undergo home quarantine for 14 days also for those travelling from other states.

The people who are traveling from Maharastra and also from other states have now to undergo 14days of home quarantine.

The quarantine rules have changed as recently the exemption to those traveling to the state from Tamil Nadu and Delhi after 3 days of institutional quarantine and said they have to be at home quarantine for 14 days.

As last month traveler from Maharastra had spiked the cases in the state, and many have recovered.
