Srinagar: A police and CRPF party has been terrorized in Pulwama district of South Kashmir, in which one policeman was killed and another seriously injured.
Police said that the terrorists opened indiscriminate firing at a joint Naka in the Prechu area of Pulwama, in which two policemen were shot. He was admitted to the sub-district hospital in an injured state. However, one policeman was declared dead and the other was referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar.
Sources said that the Joint Police Party also gave a befitting reply to the terrorists. Medical Superintendent Jamil Ahmed has confirmed that one policeman has been declared dead, while another seriously injured, who has been referred to SMHS Hospital.
