(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) Bhubaneswar; KIIT University on Sunday announced its decision of proving technical and professional education free of cost for the children of the people who have died due to Covid-19 in Odisha.
The Covid-19 pandemic has destroyed normal life and livelihood of people of Odisha, KIIT said it has provided a helping hand to the families of the ones who have died due to Covid-19.
Son and daughter of the deceased one can apply for various technical and professional courses at KIIT Deemed University, including ITI and Diploma as per the eligibility criteria.
Preference will be provided to the children whose parents have died from the Covid-19 from below poverty level, Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, Schedule caste, Scheduled Tribe.
KIIT has always helped the distressed people during the natural calamities in the state.
