(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist) Auckland: The ruling Liberal Labor Party has won a landslide victory in New Zealand’s parliamentary elections. The Labor Party received about 49 percent of the vote, while the main opposition National Party received 27 percent. With this, the current Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern will take over as the Prime Minister again.
Jacinda commented that this was the first time in almost five decades that a party had won such a landslide victory in the New Zealand elections. The country has a proportional voting system.
This is the first time since the introduction of this policy that a single party has won an absolute majority.
Jacinda said the election results were meant to eliminate instability. Jacinda Hawa has been in full swing since the start of the election campaign in New Zealand.
Jananirajanas appeared wherever she went on the campaign trail. Her efforts to make the country corona-free, in particular, have received good support from the people. In 2017, Jacinda took over as head of the coalition government.
She has been credited with effectively dealing with attacks on mosques in the country last year. Also, the country has banned dangerous types of semi-automatic weapons.
