Saloni Subha ( Intern Journalist ) Before lockdown erratic schedule, incomplete sleep, skipping meals and junk food was the lifestyle that performing musician lead. However, because of the social distancing rules, they cannot conduct live concerts they are utilizing these times by focussing on their fitness and health.
“I come from Gurdaspur village and they love playing kabaddi there. Even I was one of those kids playing sports, but when I got busy with music and shows, it was difficult to maintain that. It was always difficult to maintain that. It was always my wish to transform my body”, said singer Guru Randhawa, who lost fifteen kgs in the lockdown.
Talking about another singer Jubin Nautiyal, who was fortunate enough to be at his home before the lockdown said that ” Lockdown got me ample sleep, which I wasn’t getting for a while. And proper sleep and home workouts resulted in a good diet”, he also indulged in his favorite childhood sports, cricket. “I am lucky that I live in the mountains so I could go out on hiking and play crickets,” he further added.
