Lucknow COVID-19 News: Wife succumbed to husband and son in KGMU, life lost due to the end of oxygen
Lucknow: Surendra Kumar, who lives in Ashok Vihar, Alamnagar, will always keep saying that if everything goes well in the hospital, once the doctor sees the wife properly, then maybe his house is not deserted today. With a mixed sense of grief and anger, he said, at KGMU the wife died in front of me and the son, but the doctors did not listen.

According to Surendra Kumar, my wife Kamala Kanti was having trouble breathing. Her oxygen level was 77 percent. We reached KGMU’s Trauma Center at around 7 pm on 27 April. Admitted to ward number SHA1. Her Covid test was negative. After being admitted, some medicines were given and an oxygen mask was applied. She kept talking to me and my son comfortably till two o’clock in the night. Her health started deteriorating after two o’clock in the night. Perhaps their oxygen cylinder was empty. I was terrified, I told the doctor who was there at the time. The doctor said instead of checking oxygen supply – tell the ward boy, this is his job. I started pleading, if you want an answer, then go to another hospital. Where do I take my wife at two o’clock at night?
Wife started panting. My son and I were also trying unsuccessfully to curb her breath by pressing her body. We pleaded all over, but the doctors would not get lice on their ears. Despite repeated requests from the medical staff, he neither shifted to ICU nor ventilator. Both of us continued to see the insensitivity and carelessness of the medical staff as father, son helpless, and helpless. The wife finally died at 4:30 in the morning of 28 April. The negligence of the doctors killed him.

Breathing patient due to ENT department student: Surendra Kumar has also given tahrir in Chowk Kotwali, accusing the doctors of negligence. According to Surendra Kumar, the Medical Officer-Casualty issuing the death certificate and the doctor posted at the time duty were responsible for the death of the wife. Surendra Kumar says, when we found out later, it was known that the doctor on duty at that time belonged to the ENT department and is still studying. My wife, a respiratory patient, was left to die due to ENT department student.
