(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Lucknow: Information is given By Mr. Suresh Chandra Rawat (ADCP), Instructions have been given to all inspectors and all outposts under Lucknow Police Commissionerate, Police Station Mohanlalganj, Gosaiganj, Nagaram, Sushant Golf City, Para and Kakori to ensure that 4-4 cameras are installed in the above-mentioned places in their area with the help of the public. Out of these cameras, 2 cameras should focus on the main road. The target of installing 4 cameras in all the stations of the southern zone at a total of 1240 locations, that is, about 5000 cameras by August 31st, 2020, has been given to all outposts. Cameras are being installed by the smart city at major intersections but there is a lack of cameras on streets and small intersections and in rural areas.
For this, request for maximum participation by co-ordinating with the elite public of there areas. All outposts in charge have been directed to they co-ordinate with shopkeepers, Dhaba owners, school operators, arms holders, shopkeepers dealing with excess cash, outside real estate offices, hospitals, nursing homes, medical stores and large houses built along the road, etc. Achieve the target to put cameras in their outpost and beat areas. Presently, the appointees on the polygon mobiles can also roam around in their area and motivate people to install cameras in their houses, shops near the places of possible occurrence. 4 CCTV cameras have to be installed at one location at a cost of 12 to 15 thousand.|
