Let us tell you that on Friday, in a review meeting with the state officials through video conferencing, CM Yogi had announced to make the country’s biggest and beautiful film city in UP. He said that Noida, Greater Noida, or Yamuna Development Authority is an ideal place to build a film city. There are suitable facilities to make the country’s largest film city. After his announcement, Noida continued to trend on the Twitter handle throughout the day on Saturday, and the leaders, from the actor to the common people, congratulated each other.
Earlier, filmmaker Manoj Muntashir had raised a strong demand for a film city in the Hindi belt. Manoj said that the Tamil film industry is in Chennai, the Malayali film industry in Kerala, Bangla film industry in Kolkata. Then why is the Hindi film industry in the non-Hindi speaking state of Maharashtra? Manoj Muntashir had expressed his grief over the absence of a film city in the Hindi-speaking states and demanded the governments to pay attention to it. After him, artist Malini Awasthi had also taken this issue forward and appealed to CM Yogi to take steps in this direction. After which CM Yogi announced to make a film city in UP on Friday’s meeting.
