(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Bijnor: A major road accident occurred in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. Tehsildar’s car fell into a canal. Three people including the Tehsildar died in the accident. The bodies of the three have been removed. In the Saravanpur Canal of Najibabad, Bijnor, the government car of the Tehsildar of Roorkee fell late at night. Tehsildar Sunaina Rana was returning from Nainital to Roorkee with his orderly Ompal and driver Sundar Singh.
The car fell into the canal, breaking the railing of the canal culvert 4 km before Najibabad. There was a stir in the administration after the incident. DM Ramakant Pandey, SP Dr. Dharmveer Singh, SDM Brijesh Kumar Singh, CO Pravin Kumar Singh reached the spot. After much searching, all three bodies were removed.
At the same time, the crane pulled the car out of the canal. Police reached the spot and started an investigation.
