Debalina Mandal (Intern Journalist) Mexico: Mexico has received a shipment of 870,000 doses of AstraZeneca’s for COVID-19 from India yesterday.
The country has decided to prioritize older people for the next phase of the vaccine.
Foreign Minister, Marcelo Ebrard told the press that Vaccine Pfizer-BioNTech with 494,000 doses is expected to resume on Tuesday after shipment. Around 2 million doses of AstraZeneca which is about 42% are imported from India.
With the financial Support of Mexican Billionaire Carlos Slim, Mexico and Argentina have agreed with Astra Zeneca which will be distributed to 250 million people in Latin America.
