(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist): Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that more than one lakh people have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 in the country. He made the statement while presenting the Sputnik V vaccine to the United Nations over a video link. Russia became the first country to register the world’s first COVID-19 vaccine in August, which the country says is 92% effective.
