Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist):Lucknow: In the case of the death of 24-year-old engineer Rajat Bajpai, resident of PGI’s Krishna Vihar Eldico Colony, the mother had on Saturday accused the two of murder. The police have registered a case of murder on two, including a friend taken from the house. An audio clip has been found from Rajat Bajpai’s mobile in which both friends are threatening him. However, the police claim that Rajat died due to drowning. But the mother has questioned the functioning of the police.
Teacher Alka Bajpai’s son was an engineer in Reliance Company. His friend Arpit Trivedi took him by his bike on the evening of 17 November. He has not returned since. On November 18, his clothes were found near the water dumping ground of the Defense Expo. Police pulled out the dead body late at night at one o’clock. The body was in a naked condition. Injuries were also found in many places on the body. Police are telling these injury marks to be eaten by water creatures. However, the post-mortem report confirmed Rajat’s death as drowning. There was also a report of injury to the body. Even then, the police did not consider it suspicious.
According to Rajat’s mother Alka, if the son died due to drowning in the pond, how was the dead body found naked? Also how did his clothes come out of the pond? Did he go to bathe in the pond at night? How did he get head and neck bruises in his body? The PGI Police is silent on these questions. Mother Alka alleges that Arpit, a resident of Vrindavan Sector-2 and Tushar Vimal, resident of Vimal Residency Security Enclave Eldico, have killed Rajat. The two had a dispute a few days ago. According to Inspector-in-Charge PGI KK Mishra, it has become clear from the post-mortem report and preliminary investigation that Rajat has died of drowning. However, the case is being investigated by registering a case of murder against two friends of Rajat on the basis of Tahrir of family members.
According to Rajat’s mother Alka, a 10-minute audio was found in the son’s mobile which recorded a mobile conversation between Rajat, Arpit and Tusshar a day earlier. In the audio conversation, it has been revealed that there was a dispute between Rajat and Arpit-Tushar a few days ago which Arpit and Tushar threatened Rajat on leaving the house. Rajat was being abused in the audio. It was even threatened that he would be stripped naked. According to mother Alka, when silver’s clothes were found near the dumping ground, there was doubt. The suspicion was confirmed when the dead body was found in a naked condition late at night. Tahrir is given on this basis.
