A man was arrested in Agra for stabbing his wife and 3 yr old daughter to death for allegedly for dowry.
The incident took place on Wednesday morning.
The couple’s second daughter who is 18 yr old also sustained stab injuries and was now in critical condition.
The accused of Virender Kumar Tomar married Gunjan in 2015.
His father Ramveer informed police that Gunjan had been staying at her parent’s house in Firozabad for the last two months and had returned to her husband’s home on Monday.
The main accused, Virender has been arrested on the charge of murdering his wife and daughter. One of his daughters, who were also stabbed with a kitchen knife, was admitted to the hospital. Her condition is critical.
The case has been registered under the dowry prohibition act and section 498, 302, and 304 B.
