According to officials, Vikas Dubey was encountered by the police while bringing him back to Uttar Pradesh from Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain city. Amid heavy rain one of the police vehicle overturned, he tried to escape. He snatched the weapon from one of our officers and then he ran off to the nearby field, he was asked to surrender but refused. In self-defense, the police team fired and killed him.
But this encounter is considered to be fake. Many questions were raised against the Uttar Pradesh government and by many. Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav is one of them who raised questions against them.
He tweeted, ” The car hasn’t overturned but the government has been saved from being overturned because of secrets”.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also tweeted, “The culprit is finished, what about the crime and the people who protected it”?
Dubey, on the run since the attack on the policemen, was arrested near the Mahakal temple in Ujjain on Thursday.
