Govinda Rajulu Chintala is appointed as the new chairman of the National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development by the government of India. Currently, Chintala is serving the post of chief general manager at Nabard.
Union cabinet’s appointment committee cleared Chintala’s appointment where he will preside for two years till his superannuation in July 2022. Similarly, Shaji KV the current general manager at Canara Bank is appointed as deputy managing director at Nabard for the term of five years.
As per the cabinet committee, P.V.S Suryakumar the previous general manager of Nabard was elevated to the post of deputy managing director till his superannuation in July 2023.
