(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Kanpur: The corona infected man died at home late on Wednesday. The son of the infected kept calling for the CMO office, police control, and ambulance overnight but no one came. Also, six people in Kanpur came under the grip of the corona on Thursday and died more. The factory worker of Daboli had a fever 6 days ago.
The son said, on the advice of the doctor, he underwent a private pathology examination of the corona on July 13. The report showed infection on Wednesday. In the evening, he got a call from the CMO office and was told that the medical team would come home, but no one arrived till 1:00 am. There was no response to the call for 102 and 108 number ambulance as the father’s health deteriorated.
No one listened to the call in the police control room and the CMO office as well. The father died about 1 hour later. In the morning, the CMO office and police informed about the father’s death. At around 12:00 pm, the medical team arrived from the ambulance and took the body to Bhagwat Ghat, where the funeral took place. The son of the deceased told that there are 9 other people in the family but no one was examined.
