Netflix India has announced new 17 films and web series simultaneously. This is a big announcement by content. It includes some films that were earlier to be released in Theaters, but will now stream on Netflix. At the same time, there are some projects which are Netflix Originals. Let’s know five main things about this announcement-
- 17 new projects – 17 new movies or web series coming into the platform is a big thing in itself. If one is released even at an interval of 15 days, the settlement has been made for about 8 months. At the same time, the special thing is that all these projects are in Hindi, which will be a big competition for other online streaming platforms.
- Movies flickering from theaters- Theaters are closed due to coronavirus. Is there any faith in when these will open? There are many such films that were to be released in theaters, but now Netflix will overcome them. These include Jahnavi Kapoor starrer Gunjan Saxena and Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkumar Rao starrer Ludo.
- Stuck films found support – Many such films which have been ready for a long time, but were not released. As the shooting of Sanjay Dutt star film, Todabaz started in the year 2017. It was to be released in January 2019. At the same time, the shooting of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte starrer Raat Ekla Hai was also completed in March 2019. It is now releasing on Netflix.
- Waiting for them – There are some movies and web series which are already discussed a lot. Like Anurag Kashyap’s film Ek Versus Ek. Anil Kapoor is in the lead role in this film. At the same time, Suitable is also a boy. Ishaan and Tabu are going to be seen in it. Nawaz’s Serious Man is also involved in this. It is produced by Sudhir Mishra, which is based on the novel of this name.
