It is to be noted that this Aarogya Setu app had been launched by Niti Aayog to help prevent the coronavirus infection. It has tracking features that let you know about any positive cases near you and provide the latest updates regarding this on an hourly basis.

It had been claimed, Indian user’s privacy is at risk of using this application. Actually, this had been claimed by a hacker named Elliot Anderson who also revealed many other data breaches including Aadhar data leak.
Moreover, it has been dismissed officially that there was nothing about risking user’s privacy. We developed this app by taking of Indian user’s privacy first.

Recently, the Government has made mandatory to install this Arogya Setu app to every private and govt job employee.

It has been explicitly stated via the official twitter handle of this application, there is nothing risking about user’s data and we have discussed this with some ethical hackers but there is nothing that seems to be hacked which risks user’s privacy. User’s data is wholly secured on using this application.

Aarogya Setu application team has said on twitter handle, we had been informed about its security drawback but we took the help of some ethical hackers who didn’t able to hack it. That information on security drawbacks has been dismissed completely.
